Is the People Power Party Primary Just Another Political Show?

The People Power Party primary is in full swing. But let’s be honest: how many citizens truly believe that this time will be different?

Every election cycle, we hear buzzwords like 'reform' and 'generational change'—promises that sound good but amount to nothing. The reality remains the same: **line-ups, power struggles, and factional politics**. The faces may change, but the political scene still reeks of decay.

Some candidates flaunt their youth, while others proclaim themselves the "true conservatives." Yet, do we feel any **genuineness** in their words or actions? They talk about internal reform and listening to the public, but ultimately, they seem only obsessed with vote calculations and power disputes.

Particularly concerning is the fact that some candidates are teaming up with the very **old guard** that once corrupted the political arena, all while shouting about 'innovation.' It’s a farce that’s obvious to everyone, yet no one within or outside the party dares to raise the issue. The **cheap political culture** of "protecting my allies and attacking the opposition" continues unabated.

The public is no longer fooled by politicians' empty promises. If the People Power Party fails to show **real change**, they will face yet another **reckoning**. Instead of engaging in a vicious cycle of backstabbing during the primaries, they need to compete for the **real benefit of the citizens**. If not, this primary will end with nothing but mutual distrust and deep disillusionment among the public.
